Bug MOM 2005
Hoy, ya desde primera hora de la mañana me encuentro el primer impedimiento para seguir adelante, buffff! Cual ha sido mi sorpresa cuando al intentar instalar MOM 2005 SP1 me encuentro con que la parte de Reportirng DB tiene un bug, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipresionante, ahora, muy buena la solución el problema según el siguiente artículo, jeje...
MOM 2005 Supports only SQL Server 2000 SP3a for MOM Reporting DB
It is possible to manage a SQL 2005 server using MOM (i.e. MOM is monitoring the SQL 2005 server with the SQL 2005 MP). But the Onepoint and reporting databases must run on SQL 2000 SP3a or higher. The MOM team has been doing extensive testing of MOM 2005 SP1 with SQL 2005 since before the release of SQL 2005. This testing is completed, but there were a few issues uncovered at the very end of this testing which need to be sorted out. Once these are resolved we will announced official support.
